I remember the bowling and the library programs when my kids were younger.
I wish I had thought about some of the other ones then too.
There aren’t quite so many free choices for teens..

    Good list!

one of the things we take advantage of is the Summer bowling program for the kids. It’s not free but it’s maybe like $35/kid at the beginning of the summer for unlimited bowling including shoes. And we go to the beach a lot.

We’re not quite sure yet what we’re going to do this summer. We’re for sure going to do some learning time and enjoy lots of time outside. We’ve done Lowes Build and Grow in the past, but our Lowe’s doesn’t do it anymore.

I never thought of looking at these places for cheap activities! Thank you SO much for sharing!!

Oh we love library reading clubs, and I didn’t know about Apple’s camps, so fun!

YES- I’m always down for some great kids’ summer ideas! My daughter loves bowling, I think we’ll be hitting the lanes on the hottest days.

The bowling sounds like a cool idea on a hot or rainy day. Never thought to look into it!

This is a nice list of ideas. I have 7 children so we do a lot of activities that are cost effective that everyone can do since we have kids from age 8 to newborn.

The Michael’s and Lowe’s workshops look super fun! And I love checking out local museums for discounts on certain days. Great list!
